Magnesium Hydroxide

Magnesium Hydroxide is a naturally occurring mineral compound, widely recognized for its gentle properties in personal care. We strategically include this mild, natural-origin ingredient in some of our deodorants to provide effective odor protection.

Magnesium Hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) provides odor protection through pH adjustment. The pH of the underarm is naturally slightly acidic, falling between 4.5 and 6.5. This environment is optimal for odor causing bacteria to thrive. Mg(OH)2 is a basic compound that, by mildly adjusting the underarm pH, makes the underarm environment less favorable for bacteria to live, thrive, and produce body odor, thus ensuring effective, but gentle odor control.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a powerful humectant. Humectants are water-loving ingredients that work by attracting and drawing water from the surrounding air and deeper layers of the skin to the skin's surface, helping to hydrate the outermost skin layer (the stratum corneum). When used in cosmetic and personal care products, humectants, like glycerin, contribute to skin hydration making the skin feel softer, smoother, and more comfortable.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt form of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a powerful humectant naturally found in the skin. Humectants are water-loving ingredients that when used in skincare, can both draw in moisture from the environment and can hold onto the body’s natural moisture.

HA is renowned for its incredible ability to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, making it a superstar ingredient in skincare.

Bisabolol

Bisabolol is a soothing natural compound derived from the chamomile plant, well-known for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties in skincare.

Bisabolol is specifically included for its antioxidant and soothing benefits, helping to protect the delicate underarm skin from daily irritants and oxidative damage. As an antioxidant, Bisabolol actively helps to neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can compromise skin cell health and barrier function. Bisabolol’s inherent soothing properties can contribute to reducing potential irritation, promoting a more comfortable and resilient skin environment.

Cyclodextrin

Cyclodextrin, specifically Beta Cyclodextrin (BCD), is an advanced molecular encapsulant comprising microscopic, donut-shaped molecules designed to hold and release other substances in a controlled manner.

We've engineered Cyclodextrin into our formulations as a smart fragrance release system, ensuring that you experience bursts of freshness precisely when you need them throughout your day.

Imagine BCD as a tiny "treasure chest" holding our signature fragrance: when sweat is produced, it acts as a trigger, causing the Cyclodextrin to release the encapsulated fragrance, thereby providing a fresh scent exactly during sweat events, actively combating odor and extending your feeling of cleanliness.
